AEW fans can look forward to the return of a top star soon. During Wednesday’s Dynamite, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) announced they plan to confront the Death Riders on the January 1st, 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite.
They were attacked by the group on the December 14th Collision. They will be cleared to wrestle at Fight for the Fallen. It will be the first Dynamite simulcast on both TBS and Max, which will be held in their hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.
FTR teased they wouldn’t be coming alone. This has led to fans thinking that former TNT Champion and fellow Asheville native Adam Copeland will return with them.
Fightul Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Copeland is expected back imminently. Copeland has been out of action for several months with a broken leg after suffering the injury when diving off the top of a steel cage during Double or Nothing.
Since then, he has been working on a film project. Copeland was medically cleared several weeks back.
