Former World Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) have announced their intention to confront the Death Riders on the January 1st, 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite.
Harwood and Wheeler, who are currently sidelined due to injuries sustained during an attack by the Death Riders on the December 14th episode of AEW Collision, confirmed in a taped promo that they will be cleared to compete in time for the Fight for the Fallen special episode of Dynamite that will simulcast on both TBS and Max. The event will be held in their hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.
Adding intrigue to their return, FTR stated they will not be facing the Death Riders alone. Speculation is rampant that former TNT Champion and fellow Asheville native Adam Copeland will join forces with FTR. Copeland has been absent from AEW programming since suffering a fractured tibia at Double or Nothing in May.
