During the first round of AEW Dark tapings at Universal Studios in Florida, Eddie Kingston issued a challenge for AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam in New York City.
As first reported by Jacob Cohen on Twitter, Kingson thanked the fans for being loud and then he called out Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer to wrestle in NYC. Kingston said he would team with Jon Moxley.
The challenge has not been “officially” accepted yet but it looks likely for New York City on September 22.
As of this writing, these matches have been set up for Dynamite: Grand Slam:
– The return of Cody Rhodes vs. Malakai Black
– MJF vs. Brian Pillman, Jr.
– Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley vs. Lance Archer and Minoru Suzuki
Presumably, the rest of the card will be announced this coming week.
