WWE Hall of Famer Booker T had been advertised as one of the big names to make an appearance at Starrcast III during AEW All Out weekend.
However, that’s no longer the case as the legendary pro wrestler noted in a recent post on his official Twitter account that he won’t be appearing. He wrote, “I will not be appearing at @StarrcastEvents in Chicago as was advertised earlier.”

Dave Meltzer later noted in the Daily Update on F4Wonline.com that another major counter by WWE is expected to be made shortly.
Meltzer wrote, “Booker T, after agreeing to come, has pulled out of All Out. He evidently said when pulling out that he found out the WWE vs. AEW war was very real and he didn’t want to be in the middle of it. I’ve been told to expect another major counter by WWE shortly.”
As of this writing, WWE’s “major counter” is unknown but it’s worth noting that Sting and Mick Foley are two big names currently advertised to appear.
Starrcast III will run from Thursday, August 29th through Sunday, September 1st in Chicago during the weekend that AEW holds their next pay-per-view event, All Out, which will feature Chris Jericho vs. Adam “Hangman” Page to crown the first AEW World Heavyweight Champion.
