AEW taped next week’s Rampage and ROH TV on Saturday night from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY.
This is because there is not a Collision event next Saturday as the AEW crew will be over in the UK for the August 27 All In pay-per-view event. All Elite Wrestling will tap the August 26 Collision this Wednesday after Dynamite.
This caused a wild travel night for Britt Baker and Adam Cole as they were at the Kulture City’s Kulture Ball in Birmingham, Alabama, where Cole was given the Human Highlight Award Person of the Year.
Despite being in a different state, they made it in time for Rampage as the tapings went nearly five hours long, featuring Baker teaming with Hikaru Shida against Saraya & Toni Storm on Rampage.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Cole and Baker were in Alabama when the show started. The report added, “Baker and Cole flew private to Lexington, Kentucky, where they arrived minutes before Baker walked out for the Rampage main event.”
Cole appeared after the tapings to send the fan home happy.
