Bryan Danielson signed a 3-year deal with AEW

During his interview on the MMA Hour, Bryan Danielson told Ariel Helwani that he has signed a three-year contract with AEW.

Danielson also said that he had a lot of fun in WWE and it was hard to leave because some of his family works there and there's a lot of great people there. Danielson said he was also thinking about staying at home and being a full-time dad and just doing some select dates before he ultimately decided to sign with AEW. He said that so far everything has been smooth for him in AEW and a lot of people that work in AEW he has known for years.

Danielson also told Helwani that he never got into MMA because he's actually not a very good athlete but he flirted with the idea of doing an MMA fight but his wife told him it was not a good idea.

He said that he does think that his training with MMA fighters has helped him evolve his style in pro wrestling and what helped him in WWE was that he worked in a way that was believable.
