Bryan Danielson Will Make History At AEW All In

AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland vs. Bryan Danielson is expected to headline the AEW All In event, which will take place on Sunday, August 25, at Wembley Stadium in London, UK.

The bout was made after Danielson won the Owen Hart Foundation tournament, beating Hangman Page in the finals. Women’s Champion Toni Storm defending her title against Mariah May is the other bout set for the show.

Danielson previously confirmed his full-time days in the ring are closing this year, but he will continue to wrestle a handful of matches per year. His deal is also coming up this year.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported the history that Bryan would make at the show.

Meltzer wrote, “Danielson, if he doesn’t get hurt before Wembley, will join only Jericho, Moxley and John Tenta as people who have worked Wembley Stadium, Madison Square Garden, the Tokyo Dome and Arena Mexico. The hard one is Wembley Stadium since there have only been two shows there in history.”
