Bryan Danielson’s AEW Storyline Is Expected To Have A Major Turnaround

Bryan Danielson has been a protected star since signing with AEW in 2021, as he is one of the promotion’s biggest names.

Danielson previously confirmed his full-time days in the ring are coming to a close this year, with it being a nice idea to wrap up his full-time in-ring run at WrestleDream from the Tacoma Dome in Washington on October 12th, as he is from the state.

The top star previously revealed that his AEW contract is slated to expire before All In at Wembley Stadium in the UK this August. Danielson was most recently in action on the June 15th episode of Collision when the Blackpool Combat Club beat Lio Rush, Rocky Romero & TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste).

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported, “The Bryan Danielson storyline is expected to have a major turnaround as he closes in on retirement with the idea of regrouping from the losses earlier in the year.”

Danielson is slated to meet Shingo Takagi in an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinal this Sunday at Forbidden Door.
