Charles Barkley talks with Renee Paquette about how he felt about Jon Moxley going to rehab, which wrestlers he is close friends with

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley stopped by this week’s “The Sessions” with Renee Paquette to talk about his passion for wrestling, and his thoughts on Jon Moxley’s rehab.

Charles Barkley talking about giving credit to Jon Moxley when he went to rehab:

“I had that in my family,” Barkley shared.

“I had a younger brother who passed away at 40, so I’m very sensitive to any type of addiction because I know how it pulls at the family. My brother Darryl, he’s been gone a while now, but he tried and tried.”

“He actually got his life together at the end, but he had done so much damage to his body that his heart gave out,” Barkley followed up with.

Barkley on being a fan of wrestling for a long time:

“One of my best friends is Ric Flair,” Charles said. “I’ve known The Rock since he was in college.”

“I’ve been to a bazillion matches, even going back to Birmingham, Alabama where I grew up in a small town, going down to The Boutwell Auditorium. I’m talking about the Four Horseman, Junkyard Dog, so I’ve been in the business a long time. We did a promo last year with Chris Jericho. I’ve paid close attention to it and it’s been fun, so I wanted to acknowledge your husband.”

Charles and Renee also discuss his thoughts on “the haters,” Shaq’s AEW debut, and what he thought of “The Last Dance.”
