It looks like Chavo Guerrero's time with AEW has ended and he's not happy about it.
It was recently brought to Guerrero's attention by a fan on Twitter that he was removed from the roster page on AEW's website and he responded, "News to me."
Guerrero told Wrestling Inc. that when he started in AEW last year he was told that he could work in the company for a couple of months but then an opportunity opened up for him to do some work on NBC's "Young Rock" show.
Guerrero said, "So when I talked to Tony about it, I said, ‘hey, they just called me, I am going back to Young Rock, what are your thoughts on that?’ He said, ‘oh, I think it’s a great opportunity, man. I mean, we are on a roll with you and Andrade, but it’s a great opportunity, I think you should go and do that. Then you will have a job when you come back.’"
Guerrero said that his time working at "Young Rock" was supposed to be for three months but The Rock asked him if he could stay longer and he did but Tony Khan has ignored his texts and phone calls.
Guerrero said, "Coming back in early February, started giving Tony some texts, no answer, no reply. Called him, left him a voice message, no reply whatsoever. I am like, ‘hmm, okay.’ Then all of a sudden I see I am not part of the page anymore, of the AEW roster. So, it kind of pisses me off, to be honest."
He acknowledged that he is not under contract with AEW because he only signed a three month deal last year. Guerrero said that things were great before he left to work on The Rock's show but he is bothered by Khan ghosting him.
