Chris Benoit’s son David Benoit wants to wrestle for All Elite Wrestling

David Benoit has his sights set on pro wrestling and he hopes to join All Elite Wrestling.

The 26-year-old son of the late Chris Benoit was on Fred Rosser’s (aka Darren Young) “Pro and Bro Wrestling Podcast” and said that he has done some wrestling training.

Benoit has appeared at several WWE live events over the years and he greeted fans who approached him at Starrcast in Las Vegas. He was also sitting ringside during AEW Double or Nothing and he was at AEW All Out weekend in Chicago.

“I’m just messing around in the ring right now with a couple of guys with AEW,” Benoit said when he was asked if he’s been training to wrestle.

He noted that he did some training at Lance Storm’s academy in Calgary and he is close with Chris Jericho and he saw Dean Malenko in Chicago during All Out weekend. Malenko works backstage for AEW.

“I want to go to AEW one hundred percent,” Benoit said about his pro wrestling aspirations. “I love AEW, I love what they do for the boys. They take care of them. I thank Tony Khan for that too.”

When asked what he would like to do for his AEW debut, he said he would like to sneak attack someone like Chris Jericho and maybe put the crossface on him.

He also talked about a bunch of things including Eddie Guerrero, the current AEW product, WWE, the Hart family and more.

No word on if AEW has plans to sign him but he seems to be on their radar since he has friends there and he has spoken with Tony Khan.
