The AEW (All Elite Wrestling) Double or Nothing rally was held on Tuesday at TIAA Bank Field at Parking Lot J near Gate 1 in Jacksonville, Florida. At this press conference, there were several talent announcements made regarding new signings. Cody stated that the pay for wrestlers is important to them and later, Brandi Rhodes confirmed that women wrestlers will be paid equally to men. Also, they have a working agreement with OWE in China.
The talent signings that were officially announced include Chris Jericho, PAC (formerly known as Neville in WWE), Britt Baker, MJF, Joey Janela, Penelope Ford, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, and Scorpio Sky. Also, former WWE Tag Team Champion Billy Gunn was confirmed to be a producer for the promotion.
A second event will be held in Jacksonville, Florida with a large portion of the gate going to benefit victims of gun violence. There was no date or venue announced.
It should also be noted that there weren’t any announcements about a TV deal, how many events they’ll run this year, and possible relationships with NJPW or ROH.
