Chris Jericho proclaims himself as the best wrestler in the world

Chris Jericho took a roll of the dice by leaving WWE to sign with the upstart AEW promotion in 2019 at a time where All Elite Wrestling didn’t even have a TV deal officially announced.

That risk paid off as he became the inaugural AEW World Heavyweight Champion and had a title reign for a lengthy amount of time. Since his last WWE run, the legendary pro wrestling reinvented himself and has become the top star in All Elite Wrestling.

Jericho leads a heel ground, The Inner Circle, which has been highly praised as some of the more entertaining stars on the program.

The former WWE Champion took to his official Twitter account where he wrote the following about his recent performances in AEW:

“Not being egotistical or arrogant, but right here and right now, for the first time since 2010, I honestly feel that I AM the best in the world in the pro wrestling biz. Not gonna  discuss or debate. It’s just the way I feel…”

The AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view event takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place. As of this writing, Jericho doesn’t have a match announced for the show yet.

Jericho recently talked about The Bubbly Bunch and Flim Flam video success. For more on that, click here.
