Chris Jericho reacts to AEW Dynamite beating WWE Raw in key demographic

Chris Jericho took to social media to celebrate the fact that last week’s AEW Dynamite beat this Monday’s episode of Raw in the 18-34 demographic. For advertisers, this is one of the key demographics for television shows.

Raw averaged 0.22 while Dynamite did a 0.29. Jericho, the self-proclaimed Demo God, gave his reaction to this by writing the following on his official Twitter account:

“Wow! #AEWDynamite beat #WWERaw in the coveted overall 18-34 #Demo in ALL 3 hours this week, .29 to .22! #DemoGod @AEWrestling @wwe,.”

Monday’s Raw drew an average of 1.722 million viewers on the USA Network while Dynamite did 901,000 viewers on TNT.

The start of Jericho’s Demo God nickname came after his segments had scored high in this demographic and 18-49. He has also celebrated how Dynamite has consistently defeated NXT in the ongoing Wednesday Night Wars.

Last week’s Dynamite saw an impressive increase in viewership from 73,000 to 901,000.

Jericho is slated to take part in a rematch against Orange Cassidy on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. He also sent out this to hype the contest:
