The premiere episode of AEW Rampage aired on Friday night live on TNT from Pittsburgh, PA at the Petersen Events Center.
The broadcast team for Rampage consisted of Excalibur, Taz, Chris Jericho, and Mark Henry. The episode featured three title matches including Christian Cage beating Kenny Omega in the opener to win the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Title.
Jericho took to Twitter to respond to one fan who was critical of his work as a commentator on the show. The former AEW World Heavyweight fired back with, “Suck it. (Said in a whisper).”

Jericho will wrestle MJF on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite from Houston, Texas where he can’t use the Judas Effect, which is his finisher.
