Chris Jericho seemingly comments on latest WWE NXT talent cuts

The latest round of talent cuts was done by WWE and it hit the NXT brand on Friday night.

A total of 12 wrestlers were let go due to budget cuts – Asher Hale, Ari Sterling, Bobby Fish, Bronson Reed, Jake Atlas, Kona Reeves, Leon Ruff, Mercedes Martinez, Tyler Rust, Zechariah Smith, Giant Zanjeer, and referee Stephon Smith.

AEW’s Chris Jericho appeared to give his take about the cuts in a post on Twitter just hours after the news broke. The former AEW World Heavyweight Champion noted that he thinks AEW is the best wrestling company for fans and performers.

Jericho wrote: “I think now more than ever it’s obvious, – @AEW is the best pro wrestling company in the world today! Both for fans …and especially for performers. Nothing can stop us now!”

The talent mentioned above will have 30-day non-compete clauses. Big changes could be coming to NXT in the near future.
