Chris Jericho sends message to critics on social media

Former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho has sent a message to critics in a recent post shared on his official Twitter account.

Although he didn’t specifically name WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey in his tweet, many people believe that he was talking about her due to a YouTube video where she made several interesting comments including calling wrestling fake. Jericho wrote the following:

“Makes me smirk when wrestling fans & critics get up in arms about something a performer says or does. This is show business…nothing more, nothing less…so when an action or promo elicits a reaction and connects with an audience, it’s successful! Sit back & enjoy the ride kids!”

He has made the jump to AEW from the WWE and is now looking forward with his new venture.

Jericho is slated to take on Kenny Omega for a second time at the AEW Double or Nothing event is set to take place May 25th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The newly launched promotion will be announcing more matches in the coming weeks.
