Former WWE and IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho is doing all that he can to be well prepared for his next match.
Jericho is slated to take on Kenny Omega for a second time at the AEW Double or Nothing event. It turns out that Jericho has been doing some MMA training for this match.
Fightful’s James Lynch spoke with Ultimate Fighter Season 1 alumni Josh Rafferty, who revealed that he’s been working with Jericho.
Rafferty also helped Batista prepare for his pro wrestling comeback when he battled Triple H in a No Holds Barred Match at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network earlier this month.
“I just started Chris Jericho. He has a big match coming up, and I helped Dave Batista for his big match at WrestleMania. That stuff is always fun for me.”
The AEW Double or Nothing event is set to take place May 25th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
