Clarification On Transition Of AEW’s Archives To MAX

People still have some questions about the new multi-year multimedia rights deal signed between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery. The deal is worth $555 million over three years, not including the revenue from PPV events.

As previously reported, aEW pay-per-views will be available on Max later in 2025 at a discounted price per event. Dynamite and Collision will remain on TBS and TNT.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted the AEW pay-per-view library will be available on MAX. Still, it won’t be added on January 1st as past AEW TV episodes.

Meltzer said, “It was about the AEW TV deal. Will the PPV library go up on MAX? The answer is yes. It may not all be up immediately. All the AEW archives will be up on MAX next year. They go to MAX January 1st, and it’s not instantly. All these episodes of Dynamite and Rampage and Collision will be up on MAX. They will be slowly rolled out, as will the pay-per-views. In time, the entire library will be on MAX.”
