CM Punk got fans talking again after he responded to a video that was recently published by ROH star Marty Scurll.
In the video, Scurll and his partner Brody King met with AEW star Joey Janela in a backstage area where Scurll is seen offering Janela a spot in his faction, Villain Enterprises. Janela responded by stating that he is signed with AEW. Scurll then asked, “What the f**k is AEW?.”
Punk saw the clip and took to his official Twitter account where he wrote, “I ask myself this same question, like, every time someone tweets me.”

Punk decided to walk out of WWE following the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in 2014 and later parted ways with the company. Since the launch of AEW, there has been speculation that he could join the promotion.
AEW returns with their next event, Fyter Fest, on June 29, 2019, at Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. The next pay-per-view is All Out that takes place on Saturday, August 31st at the Sears Centre in Chicago, IL. The show has already sold out.
