CM Punk’s comments about Hangman Adam Page are not storyline, Hangman told not to go to AEW Collision

The CM Punk comments about Hangman Adam Page after AEW Collision have led some on social media to speculate that Punk and Page have worked things out enough so that they can take their real-life issues and work them into a storyline. That apparently is not the case and Punk’s comments were said to be a shoot.

Dave Meltzer reported today in his F4WOnline Daily Update that Page was sent to be at Collision in Greensboro so he could do a pre-tape promo backstage to hype this Wednesday’s Dynamite.

However, Page got to the arena and was then told not to go to the show and they would have to do it away from the building. Hangman was not booked for the show.

During Punk’s post-match promo, he mentioned that he was chopped by House of Black after asking them not to and he called Page a “peg warmer” because he (Punk) sells toys and merchandise, unlike Page. Punk also said that he loved the fans and said that they sold more tickets for Collision in Greensboro than the last time they were in the city and he was cool with the positive and negative signs. During and after Collision, Punk got a mixed fan reaction.

Meltzer also stated that The Young Bucks and Punk have an agreement not to say anything negatively about each other but that agreement does not include Page.
