A snippet from Cody Rhodes’ interview with Alex McCarthy of Talk Sport was released on Twitter.

In the interview, Rhodes spoke about Luke Harper, who was recently granted his release from WWE. After Harper requested his release from WWE in April, WWE finally gave him his release earlier this month while releasing other talents.

According to Rhodes, he thinks Harper would be great as part of All Elite Wrestling.

"He would be great as part of AEW. He's a name that when you hear they've asked for their release, you definitely think about that and the next steps, for sure. I think he's going to flourish with what he does next, he's very special."

With Harper having friends in AEW, the belief is that he will join the promotion.

Although not confirmed, it’s believed that Harper has a 90-day non-compete so he would not be able to show up on another wrestling show until March.
