Cody Rhodes has addressed Stephen Amell potentially joining AEW.
TV Guide has an interview with top AEW executives including Cody. This is where Rhodes noted that they have ideas for the Amell if he ever decides to show up in the promotion.
“Stephen is a wrestler, so we would, I think we’d absolutely. When the time comes, if Stephen needs a home as a wrestler, ever wants to get in the ring, we’re ready for it. We got ideas in case he wants to show up. He’s watched every second of what we’ve done and commented on it so far. So I just wait for the day.”

Amell made a few appearances on WWE Monday Night Raw in the summer of 2015 that eventually led to him working a match.
He teamed up with Neville to beat Cody, who was portraying Stardust at the time, and Wade Barrett in a tag team match at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Amell also worked the All In PPV event last year where he lost to Christopher Daniels.
AEW will begin airing its two-hour weekly matches on TNT on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 8 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET.
