Dan Lambert appeared on "Throwing Down with Renee and Miesha" to give a quick interview talking about his AEW appearances. Lambert will be part of AEW Grand Slam in the corner of Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page.
“How did it feel to jump on the mic against Chris Jericho?”
“I’ve been a wrestling fan since I was 8 years old and probably practiced in front of a mirror for at least 40 of the years I’ve been alive, so it was pretty cool. Chris Jericho is a legend in the business, so just being around him, the pop that he gets, how into the script and the action that the fans are when Jericho walks out and hearing them sing his music, it’s pretty crazy.”
“Is this something you want to stick with?”
As far as being there, I thought it was a one off when I was joking around with Tony [Khan], and I said, ‘Do you want me to bring a couple of the guys to the Miami show? Do you want me to bring Amanda [Nunes] and [Jorge] Masvidal over to the show and get them on camera? We were like, ‘Do you want to talk some sh*t?’ I’m like, ‘Yea, I’ll talk some sh*t.’ We threw it together at the last minute. The guy picked me up and dropped me on my head a little bit, so I thought it was a one off. Then he said, ‘That was pretty good. Can you come back?’ I’m like, ‘I’ll come anytime you want me to come’, so we’re just playing it by ear, but it’s a lot of fun.”
