Darby Allin is no stranger to violent matches, and as he prepares for another Blood & Guts, he’s open about the extreme mental state required to compete in such a brutal environment.
“You got to be at peace with whatever happens,” Allin stated. “You can’t be afraid to go to the hospital. You can’t be afraid to have months taken off your career. You got to be willing to risk it all.”
Allin feels that this dangerous attitude is perfectly aligned with his entire career, especially over the last year.
“Anybody knows anything about this past year, I’ve been risking everything. Everything,” he said. “So I think Blood and Guts is very on brand with how I live my life.”
