AEW is slated to return to a Saturday night for at least one of its pay-per-view events this year.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the Full Gear PPV will take place on Saturday, November 6th. However, a location for the show has yet to be confirmed. The last few PPV events have been held on Sunday nights.
All Elite Wrestling will hold an event, which is listed as an AEW TNT television taping, on Friday, November 5th at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. It should be noted that this doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a Dynamite TV taping, but it could end up being for the third hour of AEW programming on WarnerMedia/TNT that at some point will premiere this year.
AEW has hosted Full Gear since the promotion launched in 2019. Last year’s show, which had to take place at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL due to the pandemic, was headlined by Eddie Kingston vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title in an I Quit match.
AEW will present its next pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing, on May 30th.
