Dax Harwood Refutes Jake Hager’s Claims About Tony Khan Incident During Talent Meeting

FTR’s Dax Harwood has refuted claims made by Jake Hager regarding an alleged outburst from AEW President Tony Khan during a talent meeting years ago.

Jake Hager’s Allegations Against Tony Khan

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Jake Hager recounted a story about a “boys only” talent meeting that took place after the “CM Punk sh*t that went down.” This was after the “Brawl Out” incident. Hager claimed that senior wrestlers like Sting, Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, and Jon Moxley were leading the meeting when it was interrupted by an angry Tony Khan.

“And lo and behold, who comes in the room storming in? Daddy’s little billionaire,” Hager said. “And he’s yelling at us because—I think it was Dax and Cash—didn’t want to come in. They didn’t like the storyline so they refused to come to TV that day. And he was like, ‘Listen, I’ll put you in a six-man, six minutes before the show, and you’re gonna do it!’ And we’re all just—all feeling disrespected.”

Hager went on to say that he felt the talent became Khan’s “little playthings” and that Khan could not take criticism.

Dax Harwood’s Rebuttal To Hager

Dax Harwood took to social media to respond directly to Hager’s claims, refuting the story point by point. “Cash and I were at the all-talent only meeting that was called by Bryan, Jericho, and Mox,” Harwood wrote.

“Tony never interrupted. Cash and I have NEVER refused to show up to work and, I’d to dare say, if you look at our schedules since Collision started, we’re the most consistent talent that make BOTH shows EVERY WEEK,” he continued. “Im not really sure where all this is coming from, but it’s mostly not true.”
