Stadium Stampede featuring The Inner Circle vs. The Pinnacle headlined the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view event on Sunday night as Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana, and Ortiz looked to settle the score with MJF, FTR, Wardlow, and Shawn Spears.
The stars brawled all over TIAA Bank Field and into Daily’s Place with Guevara pinning Spears for the win.
Fightful Select reports most of the filming took place on Thursday with additional footage being recorded on Friday. The editing process was put over as it was a quick turnaround for how much footage they got. It was added that those in AEW were happy with how it came across and how the live element was integrated.
Jericho mentioned in his media scrum that AEW brought in one of the stunt coordinators who worked on the John Wick movies to help them with some of the fight scenes to make them a little bit more like an action movie.
At last year’s show, The Inner Circle lost to The Elite and that Stadium Stampede match was completely filmed in advance.
