Dijak is a man in demand following his run in WWE.
Dijak’s first post-WWE appearance took place on Saturday at the Blitzkrieg Pro event before booking his first match on the indy scene when he returned to Beyond Wrestling at Americanrana 2024 in Worcester, Massachusetts, on Thursday.
This all comes after Dijak departed from WWE as the company opted to not renew his deal, something he was expecting. Dijak was seen backstage at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door.
While speaking for Forbes, Dijak confirmed being at the show and talked about how nice it was to see Mark Briscoe and his family for the first time in several years.
Dijak said, “Nobody [invited me]. I showed up uninvited (laughs). No, Mojo [Rawley] and Steve [Kaye] both arranged that for me. They have great connections. Steve was there with me, so he brought me along, brought me in. I don’t know if anything needs to be approved by Tony specifically or if they just kind of have people going in and out. But I know that Tony has been made aware of my interest, and I know that there’s reciprocal respect if nothing else.”
Dijak is scheduled to face Michael Oku in a match on July 28 in Coventry, booked by RevPro in the UK.
