Some fans have reacted negatively toward AEW this year, as the company is experiencing a downturn in ratings, attendance, and overall interest.
However, AEW is a needed alternative to WWE in the wrestling business for wrestlers, staff, and fans. The promotion took off in 2019 due to frustration among fans with the WWE product, which only turned around once Triple H took over main roster creative in 2022.
Dustin Rhodes hopes for peace among the fanbase. Rhodes is still going strong in AEW after joining in 2019 and being a player/coach for the promotion.
Rhodes took to Twitter to call out the negative fans and sent them a message by writing, “Here’s a thought…….Just enjoy Wrestling. Please stop the constant attacking and vitriol towards us. We have the most passionate wrestlers in the world. We do this for you. #IAmWithAEW.”
