Familiar Name Was Working as a Producer at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite

AEW continued the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament and Owen Hart Foundation 2023 Women’s Tournament with quarter-final matches on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

A veteran was also back at work for the AEW brand after being away for several months.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Colt Cabana was working for All Elite Wrestling at the event where he was working as a producer/coach.

Cabana was used off and on dating back to Labor Day weekend last year when the drama at All Out happened where he was mentioned by CM Punk at the post-show press conference when Punk brought up their falling out. Punk has mostly worked on  the Collision brand since returning less than a month ago.

The rift between Punk and Cabana started over Cabana getting pizza with WWE stars.

Cabana has been absent from AEW and ROH TV after he returned to AEW TV on the November 2, 2022 edition of Dynamite, unsuccessfully challenging Chris Jericho for the ROH World Title.

It’s unclear which match he was helping with at Dynamite.
