Matt Hardy being featured on AEW Dynamite every Wednesday is clearly expected but the company reportedly has plans for his "Broken Universe."

Since joining All Elite Wrestling, the former WWE Tag Team Champion brought back his Broken character but has made some slight changes to it. He came up with it in Impact Wrestling and later used it as Woken in WWE.

Pwinsider.com reports that AEW has a lot of plans in place to use Hardy's Broken Universe in the near future.

The promotion has already confirmed that Hardy is slated to return to in-ring action when he teams up with AEW World Tag Team Champion Kenny Omega to face Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. The Street Fight will take place on next Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT.

This is a continuation of the ongoing feud between The Elite and The Inner Circle.

Hardy, Cody Rhodes, Matt Jackson, and AEW World Tag Team Champions Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs. Jericho, Jake Hager, Santana, Ortiz and Guevara were supposed to battle in a Blood & Guts match last month.

However, the contest was pulled due to the circumstances as the world deals with the coronavirus outbreak.
