Former Faction Is Not Expected To Reunite In AEW

MJF is not slated to reunite his former faction, The Dynasty, in AEW anytime soon. This update follows MJF’s interaction with MVP on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, where he received a Hurt Syndicate business card, hinting at a potential storyline development.

The potential for a Dynasty reunion was raised due to the recent free agency of Alexander Hammerstone, whose TNA contract expired on March 7, 2025. Hammerstone’s availability sparked speculation about a possible AEW signing and a reunion with MJF. The two were foundational members of The Dynasty in MLW, a faction that also included Grogan, Gino Medina, and Richard Holliday.

While speaking on a Fightful Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp noted that the faction is not reuniting. He added that neither Hammerstone nor Holliday had been signed with AEW.

“With MJF getting the business card from MVP, is there a chance MJF reaches out to Hammerstone and Holliday reforms the dynasty to go against Hurt Syndicate? I asked about this and was told that that’s not the plan as of now and that those two are not signed to AEW. I wish they were. I think they’d both be great in AEW.”

For now, MJF’s storyline appears to be focused on his interaction with MVP and The Hurt Syndicate, leaving The Dynasty’s potential reformation on the back burner.
