Former WWE/AEW Star Dealing With Personal Issues, No Health Insurance To Deal With An Injury

Bobby Fish has announced the launch of a new YouTube channel, sharing the news while also opening up about recent personal challenges and a significant injury sustained just days ago. In posts on social media, including a video message, Fish revealed he is navigating a rough patch but remains passionate about connecting with fans through wrestling-related content.

Fish began his video acknowledging recent difficulties. “If I can be completely transparent here… life has thrown a few curveballs my way,” he stated. He detailed a recent in-ring injury, saying, “Most recently, I’m pretty sure I pulled my hamstring at the very least, couple nights ago wrestling”. Compounding the physical setback, Fish disclosed his current lack of medical coverage, adding, “To top it off, I don’t have health insurance, so this hamstring’s gonna have to take care of itself”. He also alluded to ongoing personal issues over the past few years that “haven’t been fun”.

Despite these setbacks, Fish emphasized he wasn’t looking for sympathy or handouts. Instead, he announced his new venture, stating, “I am here to let you know that I’m starting a YouTube channel”. His motivation, he explained, stems from his enduring affection for the wrestling business and a desire to entertain. “I’m starting a YouTube channel because I still love this business, and I want to keep giving you something real,” he wrote in his Instagram caption.

The channel promises a mix of content offering insight into his life and career. Fish outlined his plans, saying the channel will feature “stories, training, behind the scenes”. He elaborated in his caption, mentioning “Stories, training, laughs, whatever I can bring”. Fish stressed his goal is to earn viewers’ support through entertainment, stating, “The only way I know how to do that is by entertaining you”.

He made a direct appeal to anyone who has followed his career, regardless of their past reactions. “If you have cheered me, if you have booed me, if you have told me I was a piece of f**ing sht, thank you,” Fish said in the video. He urged viewers, “What I’m asking you to do now is click that subscribe button”.

Fish framed the YouTube channel as the beginning of a new phase, inviting fans to join him. “Let’s do what we can do to write this next chapter,” he stated. “Take this journey with me, let’s go for a ride and let’s make it the best chapter yet”. He encouraged followers to “hit that subscribe and come along for the ride. Let’s see what we can build together”.
