Former WWE NXT star Jake Atlas was arrested on 5/23 in Orlando, Florida, as first reported by PWInsider.

Atlas was reportedly charged with misdemeanor battery (domestic assault). The police report states that officers responded to a domestic violence call. The report states that Atlas was drinking at Big Daddy's Roadhouse the night before and when his partner went to pick him up, Atlas asked his partner to stay and drink with him.

Per the report, the victim says that Atlas wanted him to go to a friend's house to be intimate together but Atlas was said to be more upset that his partner was showing "half more attention" to her than Atlas and that sparked an argument that allegedly led to Atlas becoming more "physically aggressive" by charging at the victim. The report adds that a witness had to step in to stop the attack and Atlas was convinced to come back to his place to "sleep it off" because he was intoxicated.

The report states that the victim left the apartment but Atlas followed and yelled at him and there was another attempted attack with the witness trying to stop it again. In this case, the victim was left with a scratch on his forearm and his tank top was torn.

Atlas then allegedly was brought back to his apartment to get his dog. When Atlas returned to the apartment that he and the victim shared, Atlas allegedly refused to leave.

The responding officer said that an attempt was made to get Atlas' side of the story but Atlas chose to "speak badly" about the victim instead of telling his side of the story and it was then determined that Atlas was the aggressor and he was arrested.

Atlas signed a no contact order that states that he must stay 500 feet away from the victim. He was released from jail on 5/23 and has a court date in Orange County on 6/28.

Atlas signed with AEW in January but has been out of action with a torn ACL.
