A former WWE star debuted at tonight’s AEW Dark tapings in Orlando, Florida.
As seen in the photo below from JJ Williams, Levy Valenz debuted at tonight’s tapings. Fans will know him as former WWE star No Way Jose. The last time Valenz appeared on WWE television was in 2019. He was released on April 13, 2020 as part of company budget cuts.
Since his release, he has wrestled on a handful of independent shows. In 2021, he wrestled on some Impact tapings. Most recently he defeated Ethan HD on DEFY Death From Above in Tacoma, Washington.
At this point, it does not look like Valenz is signed and this may just be a tryout. Click here for news on a tag team that has been repackaged with a new name and news on another ex-WWE star that appeared earlier at these tapings.
