Tony Nese made his All Elite Wrestling debut when he worked the AEW Dark tapings on Sunday at Universal Studios in Florida.
During the first session of the tapings, the former WWE star wrestled Fuego Del Sol in a singles match.

Just last night on a special Saturday night edition of Dynamite, Nese was shown in the crowd during the AEW World Title Eliminator match between Bryan Danielson and Dustin Rhodes.
Back in June, Nese was released by WWE due to budget cuts. While he was never used in a top spot, he was widely praised by fans and fellow wrestlers for his in-ring work.
It’s still unclear whether this was a tryout or if the promotion plans to sign him to a deal. AEW will announce on social media with a graphic when a talent signs a full-time contract with them.
We will have complete spoilers from these tapings later tonight.
