While AEW has a ton of talent under contract, and they work under the AEW and ROH banners, Elias is not one of them.
A report had been that the former Elias, now known as Elijah, was signed by AEW/ROH. Fightful Select reports this is not the case, and he has not been signed with the company. This comes after he appeared in a video with the ROH team, The Righteous.

He had also appeared on the Jericho Cruise, taking on AEW talent Tommy Billington. Fightful had heard that TNA had expressed interest in using him.
Elias was known as “The Drifter,” a musician who would often mock his opponents and the audience with his songs before his matches. He joined the WWE main roster in 2017. He introduced the Ezekiel character in 2022, who was supposedly Elias’ younger brother. This gimmick led to a feud with Kevin Owens. He would later go back to Elias before being released in September 2023.
