Former WWE star Von Wagner continues to appear for AEW/ROH in the new chapter of his pro wrestling career. He appeared on the latest episode of Ring of Honor on HonorClub.
Cal Bloom, known as Von Wagner, did so when he teamed with Deonn Rusman on the April 3 episode of ROH. It was a losing effort to the Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona). He recently appeared on AEW Dynamite as a security guard during a brawl between Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs.
Wagner was considered for a move to the WWE main roster before the decision was made to release him. Before the cut, he had been in a feud with Bron Breakker and Lexis King.
Wagner returned to the ring for Midwest All-Star Wrestling last month when he beat Shay Diesel. It’s unclear whether he’s under contract or not with AEW/ROH.
