Matt Cardona, former WWE Superstar Zack Ryder, made his debut this week on AEW Dynamite.
Cardona walked out to the ring to help out his friend Cody Rhodes. This was after Rhodes successfully defended the TNT Championship against Warhorse.
There was speculation for months that Cardona would end up in All Elite Wrestling. Cardona was one of the dozens of WWE stars released in April as part of budget cuts.
It’s unclear if Cardona is signed to a full-time contract but it looks like he will be around on AEW TV at least for the near future.
