All Elite Wrestling announced today via social media that wrestling veteran Rhino will make a live appearance during the company’s television tapings in Detroit, Michigan later this week.
“The Man Beast,” a Detroit native, is scheduled to be at the Masonic Temple Theatre on both Wednesday, May 7th, and Thursday, May 8th, as AEW and its sibling promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) return to the Motor City.
AEW’s social media post stated: “‘The Man Beast’ RHINO will appear LIVE in Detroit at the Masonic Temple Theatre Wednesday 5/7 and Thursday 5/8 When AEW + @RingOfHonor return to the Motor City!”
Rhino is well-known to wrestling fans for his tenures in major promotions including ECW, WWE, and TNA/Impact Wrestling, often celebrated for his intense style and signature move, the Gore. He has made sporadic appearances for AEW and ROH in recent years. The announcement did not specify Rhino’s exact role or if he will be competing during the tapings.
