Former WWE Star Worked Dark Match Before AEW Collision

All Elite Wrestling held a live Collision episode before taping ROH TV on Saturday night from the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA, and a notable name was in action for a dark match.

The promotion had Powerhouse Hobbs defeat Victor Benjamin, The Gunn Club defeating The Outrunners, and former MLW Tag Team Champion EJ Nduka competing as part of dark matches.

The 6-foot-5 former college football player and bodybuilder previously wrestled for WWE NXT as ‘Ezra Judge.” After being let go by WWE, he turned his career around.

The pre-Collision match marked Nduka’s first match since an AEW Dark match where he lost to Konosuke Takeshita on January 28th. Nduka was offered a full-time AEW contract after the match. Nduka had interest from multiple companies, including WWE and those in Japan. He ended up signing a full-time deal with AEW.

His MLW contract expired in January, but he finished up with the promotion at the Blood & Thunder TV tapings in Philadelphia, PA, on February 4.

He beat Deonna Russman in the dark match. He shared this post on Twitter:
