A top star from New Japan Pro-Wrestling was backstage at the recent AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings. According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Fred Rosser, formerly known as Darren Young in WWE, was at the shows on Wednesday, July 2, in Ontario, California.
Rosser has been a regular for NJPW’s American-based shows for several years. This isn’t the first time Rosser has been linked to AEW.
When the company first started, he openly pushed for the opportunity to join the promotion and form a tag team with Sonny Kiss. It is not known why Rosser was backstage at the event.
