FTR has been on an incredible run over the last year as they’ve found success in AEW, ROH, AAA, and NJPW.

While speaking with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Dax Harwood said that he's under the belief their current AEW contract ends at the end of April 2023, and initially, the tag team thought they'd be up last year.

He said he's evaluating options and that he and Cash Wheeler have had a lot of conversations about their future. One particular idea they've talked about is that they could take a year off of wrestling for major companies and just do things that are fun to them.

Harwood said that having the opportunity to work more indies and various companies have led them to find out how much they love that landscape.
