A chaotic “Fright Night 4-Way Fight” determined the next challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Brodido. The match featured four top-tier teams: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler), the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), JetSpeed (“Speedball” Mike Bailey & “The Jet” Kevin Knight), and Jurassic Express (“Jungle” Jack Perry & Luchasaurus).
The winners of the bout would secure a championship opportunity at the upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view.
FTR Emerges Victorious
The match was filled with high-impact offense and several near falls. The Young Bucks hit Kevin Knight with a double superkick and followed it with a V-Trigger, nearly getting the pin.
The action spilled to the outside as Luchasaurus and “Speedball” Mike Bailey both dove over the top rope, crashing onto their opponents on the floor.
Back in the ring, Kevin Knight of JetSpeed gained momentum, hitting “Jungle” Jack Perry with a corkscrew splash. However, FTR quickly capitalized on the opening, combining to hit Knight with a Codebreaker. FTR then pinned Knight to become the new #1 Contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Full Gear Title Match Set
With the victory, it is now official that FTR will challenge Brodido for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The match will take place at AEW Full Gear on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
