During last week's Dynamite, the Young Bucks defended the AEW World Tag Team Titles in a three-way match against Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks and Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee.

Matt Jackson suffered a stinger in the match that was won by Lee and Swerve. The injury occurred when Matt took a suplex.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Jackson is doing much better, and Matt described it as bad whiplash.

Meltzer wrote, “He’s had no loss of strength, and his mobility and range of motion is already back to normal. He passed a strength test right after the injury, so major concerns about the injury were alleviated quickly.” Meltzer added that it may be a few weeks before he’s back in the ring.
