“Hangman” Adam Page Retains AEW World Championship Over Kyle Fletcher At All Out

In the main event of the AEW All Out pay-per-view, “Hangman” Adam Page successfully defended the AEW World Championship, defeating TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher. The match concluded with Page securing a pinfall victory after a Deadeye from the middle rope followed by a Buckshot Lariat.

Heading into the event, some discussion centered on whether this was Fletcher’s time for a world championship opportunity. While Fletcher was ultimately unsuccessful in capturing the title, his performance in his first pay-per-view main event was noted by the broadcast team, who commented that he will likely be a world champion in the future.

Fletcher controlled a significant portion of the match, particularly the first ten minutes, where he focused his offense on the neck of the champion. At one point in the match, commentator Bryan Danielson stated he had never seen an opponent dominate Page in such a way to begin a match. Fletcher utilized a series of brainbusters and kicks to the neck area throughout the contest.

The physically intense match included several high-impact moments involving tables at ringside. Fletcher delivered a brainbuster to Page through a table at the timekeeper’s area. Later, Page countered by hitting Fletcher with a Deadeye from the ring apron through another table set up on the arena floor.

The final moments of the match began after Fletcher removed a turnbuckle pad, exposing the steel underneath. After a back-and-forth exchange, Page gained control and slammed Fletcher’s head into the exposed turnbuckle. Page then performed a Deadeye on Fletcher from the middle rope and followed up with his signature Buckshot Lariat to secure the win and retain his championship.

The match contained a stipulation that if any member of the Don Callis Family, with whom Fletcher is aligned, interfered in the match, Fletcher would be stripped of his TNT Championship. This ensured a one-on-one contest, with Don Callis limited to a role on the commentary desk for the duration of the bout. The show concluded with “Hangman” Adam Page holding the AEW World Championship belt above his head.
