Here’s How Many Tickets Were Sold After CM Punk’s AEW Collision Match Was Announced

The main event is set for the first AEW Collision show on TNT at 8 pm Eastern as company President Tony Khan confirmed the news for the June 17 premiere episode from Chicago, IL, at the United Center.

It will be Jay White, Juice Robinson and Samoa Joe taking on AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR and CM Punk.

This match will mark the first time that Punk has made an appearance on AEW programming since last September at the All Out pay-per-view, where he won back the World Heavyweight Title from Jon Moxley in the main event only to suffer an injury that needed surgery and also getting in a backstage fight with The Elite.

As previously reported, Punk has helped ticket sales for the Chicago show, but the rest of the Collision shows are still struggling to sell tickets.

WrestleTix, which does a great job on Patreon with tracking ticket sales, noted there were 167 tickets sold since the announcement of Punk’s match. The show is set up for 10,214 seats, with 8,233 tickets sold and 1,981 left.
