Former WWE and TNA tag team champions The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) have officially made their AEW debut. Following their departure from TNA last month, speculation regarding their future intensified, with many fans expecting an appearance at AEW Grand Slam Australia in Sydney.
While the duo failed to appear at the February 14 event at the Qudos Bank Arena—leading to disappointment among fans online—they made their presence felt just hours later. The IInspiration appeared at an AEW House Rules live event in Brisbane, Australia, today.
‘Officially All Elite’
In their debut match for the promotion, Lee and McKay faced the team of Frankie B and Aysha. Aysha had previously been a talking point during the Grand Slam Australia broadcast after a viral ringside interaction with Andrade El Idolo. The IInspiration secured the victory in their first match since competing on the January 15 episode of TNA Impact.
Following the contest, the former TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions confirmed their status with the company, announcing themselves as “officially All Elite.”

Background And Impact
The addition of The IInspiration significantly helps AEW’s women’s tag team division. The team previously held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships as The IIconics and found success in TNA as The IInspiration, where they helped anchor the Knockouts tag division.
Their debut in Brisbane follows a weekend of developments for AEW in Australia, including the debut of Lena Kross and the crowning of a new number one contender for the AEW World Championship.
