Injured AEW Star Is Getting Closer To Making In-Ring Return

An injured AEW star is just a few weeks away from being able to get back into the squared circle and wrestling again.

Juice Robinson wrestled Will Ospreay in a Gold League match on the November 30th episode of AEW Collision in the AEW Continental Classic, where Ospreay was victorious in the contest. Robinson was later spotted on crutches during the WrestleCade weekend before AEW CEO Tony Khan confirmed that Robinson had suffered a broken fibula and would be out of action.

Robinson reportedly suffered the injury during a sunset flip spot. As a result, Kommander replaced him in the tournament.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “Juice Robinson is a few weeks away from beginning in-ring training. At that point a time line should be there for a return.” Robinson had surgery back on December 9th.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
